1. About This Policy

This Privacy Policy applies to the Android application County Savvy: US Map Quiz. For questions or privacy requests, contact tomkri1976@gmail.com.

The developer does not operate external servers, user accounts, crash analytics, or advertising networks. Your privacy is respected, and no personal data is collected or sold by the developer.

2. On-Device Storage

Learning progress, quiz settings, theme preferences, and local reminder schedules are stored exclusively in your device's private storage. This data is used solely to operate the app locally and is never sent to the developer or any third-party server.

Optional practice notifications are scheduled and delivered entirely on your device. You can turn notifications off at any time in the app settings or via Android Notification Settings.

3. Device Access & Map Data

Map data is bundled directly within the app and rendered locally using MapLibre. The app does not download map tiles, track your physical location, or request runtime location permissions. It does not access your photos, contacts, camera, or microphone.

4. Google Play Services (Purchases & Reviews)

The app uses standard Google Play services to handle optional features:

• Purchases: In-app purchases are handled securely by Google Play Billing. The developer does not receive or store your credit card or financial details. Google shares basic order metadata (such as order ID and purchase status) with the developer for accounting and support purposes.
• Reviews: In-app rating and review prompts are powered by Google Play API. Reviews you submit are processed directly by Google according to Google’s Privacy Policy.

5. Children’s Privacy

The app does not knowingly collect or solicit any personal information from children under the age of 13.

6. Data Retention & Erasure

Local app progress remains on your device until you clear the app data or uninstall it. You can erase all local data at any time via Android Settings > Apps > US Counties Geography Game > Storage > Clear Storage.
